With Luis Díaz strongly linked to a move to Bayern Munich, Liverpool have set their asking price at €100 million. And if that deal materializes, the club are reportedly lining up Real Madrid’s Rodrygo as a direct replacement.
The 24-year-old Brazilian winger, immensely talented and proven at the top level, has found game time hard to come by at Real Madrid due to the presence of Vinícius Jr. and new superstar signing Kylian Mbappé.
That has led to growing speculation that Rodrygo is open to a move, with Arsenal and Bayern Munich previously showing interest. But now, Liverpool are ready to enter the race — and possibly leap to the front of the line.
According to reports from Spain’s AS, a publication known to be close to Real Madrid, Liverpool have already contacted both the club and the player, laying the groundwork for a potential deal.
Interestingly, Real Madrid’s valuation of Rodrygo also stands at €100 million — mirroring Liverpool’s asking price for Díaz. A potential one-for-one swap in value could be on the cards.
